Stumbled upon this discussion today and I totally agree with the previous post. Keeping things mid-range is honestly the best way to go since you save a ton of cash while still getting a super responsive machine. Before I dive into my specific setup thoughts, do you have a rough budget in mind or are you limited to a specific physical desk space? Knowing if you need something tiny or if a full tower is fine would be amazing. I love my current compact setup, but it really comes down to what you have room for!

For a home office focused on video conferencing, document editing, and browsing, a high-end PC isn't essential. A mid-range system with a good webcam, ample RAM (16GB), an SSD, and a reliable internet connection is perfectly adequate. Prioritize ergonomics with a comfortable keyboard, mouse, and monitor (even a 42" OLED works for some!). An energy-efficient system will also save on electricity costs.
