What is the best $2000 gaming PC build for 2025? I'm looking for a balance of performance and value, especially considering the current GPU market situation. Any recommendations on specific components or pre-built options that offer great gaming performance? Also, how do the AMD and Intel options compare in this price range? Thanks!

Just catching up on this thread and honestly Fall_Am has a decent list, but I've been really satisfied with an Intel and Nvidia combo lately for stability and those sweet DLSS features. I recently built a rig for my brother with a similar budget and found that hunting for specific component deals made a huge difference.

  • Intel Core i7-14700K 20-Core LGA1700
  • MSI PRO Z790-P WIFI Motherboard
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB GDDR6X
  • Microsoft Windows 11 Home 64-bit OEM If you're trying to stay under $2000 including the OS, dont sleep on the OEM versions of the software. It saved me enough cash to upgrade the storage to a faster M.2. Technical tip tho... make sure your RAM is low profile if you're going with a big air cooler like the DeepCool AK620 CPU Air Cooler because I had a hell of a time fitting mine in last month. Works well now but it was a tight squeeze. Let me know if you want the specific thermal data I grabbed from the stress tests!
