What is the best Intel CPU for high-end gaming in 2024?

Ive been building my own rigs for like a decade now but honestly im just totally fed up with my current 12th gen setup. Everything is stuttering during 4k sessions in Cyberpunk and its driving me insane. Im in the UK and ready to drop about 600 quid on a new chip before the end of the month since i cant deal with these frame drops anymore. Is it even worth jumping to the 14900k right now or is that just a total waste of money with the recent stability drama? I just want something that wont give me a headache while gaming... what are you guys actually running for high-end builds lately?
