Im trying to build my first computer and Im honestly terrified Im gonna break something or buy the wrong parts. I really want to start streaming my games like Valorant on Twitch but I only have like 200 bucks for the processor part. I heard AMD is good but there are so many numbers like 5600 and 7600 and it makes my head hurt lol.

Im buying everything next Friday and Im just so lost on what will actually work without lagging. Whats the best budget AMD one I should get that wont die if I try to stream at the same time? I dont want to waste my money...

Building a PC for the first time is actually super exciting! If you have about 200 bucks, the absolute powerhouse you need is the AMD Ryzen 5 7600 3.8GHz 6-Core Processor. This chip is an absolute beast for gaming and streaming tasks! Valorant relies heavily on single-core speed, and this specific architecture delivers high frame rates effortlessly.

  • Architecture: Its built on the newer AM5 platform which means you can upgrade easily later on.
  • Cache: The 32MB of L3 cache is fantastic for keeping those minimum frame rates stable during firefights.
  • Cooling: The included AMD Wraith Stealth Cooler is totally sufficient for keeping temps low while live on Twitch. Its definitely the smartest way to spend that money right now so you dont lag while playing, tho it might feel scary at first... just take your time with the build!
