Trying to coordinate this massive grocery haul for a family reunion in Orlando this weekend and it is driving me crazy. My sister and I both have stuff to add but we gotta stay under a strict $400 budget so we dont double buy things.

Right now we are torn between just sharing my login info which I hate doing for security reasons or her just texting me screenshots of her cart and then I manually search for everything. The screenshot thing is so slow and we need to place this order tonight or we lose our delivery slot. Is there a way to actually share a Walmart cart between two different accounts so we can both edit it live?

Agreed that sharing logins is risky. Might want to be careful with third-party extensions though. Are you both using the mobile app or is one of you on a desktop browser?

> we gotta stay under a strict $400 budget No native way exists. Honestly its ridiculous, I tried this for my moms party last year and prices were sky high while the app just glitched. Be careful with budgets. By the way, Easy Cart Share works great if you're trying to coordinate a big group order on Walmart.

Late to the party but I've been through this exact nightmare before. Last summer I had to coordinate a 20-person cabin trip and we had a super tight budget too. Walmart really makes it harder than it needs to be since they dont have a native way to share a cart. Over the years I've tried many workarounds but honestly... sticking to a manual system is safer for your wallet. Here is what I've learned about staying under budget on these big hauls:

  • One person needs to be the designated cart master so you dont accidentally double up on expensive meats or snacks.
  • Always filter by the Great Value brand because those savings add up fast when you're trying to stay under $400.
  • Keep a separate running tab in a shared note to track the total price as you go.
  • Double check the rollbacks section right before you checkout because sometimes a cheaper brand goes on sale last minute. Its definitely a chore but worth it once you're actually in Orlando and not stressed about the bill.
