okay so sorry if this is a super dumb question but im honestly so confused lol. my sister and i are planning a huge grocery run for this weekend because we are hosting a surprise bday party in ohio and we want to split everything 50/50. our total budget is around 150 bucks for all the snacks and drinks. ive been trying to figure out how we can both add stuff to the same online cart at the same time without messing it up.

heres what we need:

  • has to work on the app or website
  • needs to update in real time so we dont buy duplicates
  • gotta be easy since im not great with tech stuff

is there actually a way to share a walmart cart or are we gonna have to just text screenshots back and forth all night

> is there actually a way to share a walmart cart or are we gonna have to just text screenshots back and forth all night Honestly, dont worry about doing screenshots because that gets super messy so fast lol. I was stressed about the exact same thing when planning a family cookout last month, but it actually turns out pretty easy once you know what to do. Walmart has a shared list feature that works way better than trying to share one single active checkout cart at the exact same time. You just start a shared list on the app, send the link to your sister, and both of you can drop items in there in real time without any issues. Then when you are ready to checkout, you just move everything from the list right into the cart. It works really well and I have zero complaints about how smooth it was tbh. If you want a step-by-step walkthrough of how to set it up without messing anything up, this Walmart cart tool guide helped me out a ton when I was figuring it out. Hope the bday party in Ohio goes amazing and your grocery run is totally stress-free!
