Been using camelcamelcamel forever but it doesnt help with my Walmart project... I'm trying to snag a specific dining set for my backyard reno before July but the prices keep bouncing around based on my zip code. Looking for:

  • actually free
  • no delay on alerts
  • works on desktop

Is there anything that actually tracks local store stock too?

TL;DR: Use BrickSeek for local stock and price data. I've been really satisfied with my current setup for tracking inventory across various zip codes. It works well and the data points are pretty solid for a free tool. I managed to grab all my outdoor gear last month using it without any issues. No complaints at all with how the desktop alerts fire off.

@Reply #1 - good point! I'm really satisfied with how that tool handles local inventory data without being sketchy. It works well and I've had no complaints about the accuracy so far. Just curious though, is the dining set you're eyeing sold directly by Walmart or is it a third-party marketplace listing? Some trackers struggle with the third-party stuff when zip codes start shifting prices.
