So my sisters friend just asked me to help her with this promotional video for her new bakery here in Seattle and I kind of said yes without thinking it through. Now I have to have a finished product by next Thursday and I am literally shaking because I have zero experience with this stuff. I downloaded some trial of a pro editor and I just stared at the screen for twenty minutes because there are too many buttons and I dont know what a timeline even really does.

I keep seeing ads on tiktok about how AI can just edit everything for you now in 2024 but I dont know which ones are actually good or if they are just scams? I have like fifty bucks to spend on this and I really need something that can maybe fix the audio too because it sounds like she recorded it in a wind tunnel. Is there an AI that can just like... take my clips and make them look professional? Or at least help me cut them together without me having to learn a whole career in four days? I am so lost and honestly terrified Im gonna ruin her big launch. What are the actual best AI tools for this that wont break the bank or my brain?

Dont panic, youve got this! Im really satisfied with CapCut Desktop Version for PC/Mac for quick edits since its AI auto-cuts clips pretty well. If the audio is trashed, Descript Creator Annual Plan has a Studio Sound feature that works wonders to kill wind noise. Honestly, these two are way better for beginners than pro software and wont break your brain before Thursday.

Honestly dont believe all those tiktok ads saying AI will do everything for you. I tried InVideo AI Video Generator for a project recently and it was pretty disappointing... it just felt like a random slideshow and didnt capture the vibe at all. If you want something that works for a local business, you gotta be a bit more hands-on.

  • Wondershare Filmora 13 Video Editor has decent AI features like smart cutout. Its easier than the big pro softwares but the AI copilot can be a bit glitchy and frustrating when you are in a rush.
  • For that wind tunnel audio, Adobe Podcast AI Audio Enhancer Premium is basically your only hope. I had a clip that sounded like garbage and this fixed it in seconds. Just take it slow. Most 'magic' tools are just marketing hype but these two are reliable enough to get you through.

I totally agree with the points above! Last year, I faced a similar disaster and felt completely overwhelmed. My current setup features an amazing audio cleaner that literally saved the day by isolating the speaker perfectly! It was fantastic to see how much technical stress a reliable tool can remove... honestly, dont worry because these tools work wonders! TL;DR: Reliable audio cleaning is essential for saving wind-damaged footage.
