sorry if this is a dumb question but does walmart actually tell you when stuff goes on sale?? i just bought a big 65 inch tv for my new apartment and im kinda worried itll be cheaper next week lol. i really dont want to spend more than i have to since my budget is super tight right now after paying for moving costs.
- i need to save cash anywhere i can
- looking to buy some kitchen appliances soon
- dont really understand how their app works
is there a button i need to click or do they just not do that at all? just feel kinda lost with all these techy shopping things...

Honestly, Walmart doesnt really have a direct alert system for price drops on stuff you already bought. Its super annoying, right? I hate when that happens! If you want to keep track of deals without losing your mind, you gotta use other tools. I use CamelCamelCamel or similar price trackers because they make it so much easier to see if you are actually getting a deal. Here is how I save my cash:
- Add items to your favorites list in the Walmart app so you can check them easily.
- Use a browser extension that tracks price history.
- Always check the rollback section before buying appliances. Dont stress too much about the TV! You got a new apartment and that is amazing. Just keep an eye on things and you will be fine.

Honestly, Walmart doesnt do this at all, so dont wait for an email. In my experience over the years, you basically have to handle the tracking yourself. I finally got fed up with missing sales and started using PriceDropCatch to keep an eye on things I want since Walmart prices change so fast.
- Check the app for rollback tags
- Keep your receipts just in case
- Set alerts elsewhere Its a total headache, but you get used to it.
