Budget is around $800-1000. Any good suggestions?
Take a look at Black Friday 70 inch TV deals: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=70+inch+tv&i=black-friday&crid=3ZQ7DEEF23DL&sprefix=70%2Cblack-friday%2C821&------123456890?5422-20&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_3_2
Quick reply while i have a sec. I have spent way too many hours digging into panel specs lately and want to make sure you dont get stuck with a lemon. Before you drop the cash, what kind of lighting situation are you dealing with in your room? Like, is this for a dark movie cave or a bright living room with windows? I am asking because I made the mistake of grabbing a massive cheap screen once without checking if it was a VA or IPS panel. The viewing angles were so bad that if i sat even slightly off-center, the colors shifted like crazy. Be careful with 70-inch models specifically because manufacturers often use lower-grade components for that size since it is not a standard high-volume production cut like 65 or 75 inch. You might want to consider the Sony X80K 75-Inch 4K Ultra HD LED if you can find it in your price range during the sales. Even though its slightly bigger, Sony usually handles motion processing way better with their X1 chips compared to the budget brands. Or if you stick to 70, look at the LG 70-Inch Class UQ7070 ZUD Series LED 4K. Just make sure to check the native refresh rate because if it is only 60Hz, you are gonna see some nasty blur during fast sports.
Why not get 75 inch TVs, they are basically same at price.
70 inch TVs are not popular, 65inch/75inch TVs are more people buy. Take a look at this:
