Tbh, while everyone is hunting for those Prime Day flash sales on new units, you gotta be realy careful with the 'Amazon Renewed' deals that flood the site during the event. As someone who does a lot of DIY repairs, I've seen some absolute horror stories with third-party refurbishers. Biggest warning imo is the display quality. The iPad Pro uses a fully laminated digitizer assembly, and if it's been replaced with a cheap aftermarket part to hit a low Prime Day price point, the color accuracy and ProMotion refresh rate are basically trash. Ngl, I've seen units where the logic board was messed with or the battery cycle count was way higher than advertised. If you're thinking of buying a 'fixer-upper' to save money, just know that these things are a nightmare to open without cracking the glass. Honestly, just make sure you check the return policy and run a diagnostic on the hardware as soon as it arrives. Dont just trust the 'Like New' label blindly.

If you are planning on keeping this thing for the long haul, my advice is to just go with any brand new iPad Pro from an authorized retailer instead of gambling on a used one just to save a few bucks. In my experience, you really cant go wrong with the Pro lineup when you buy it fresh. They hold up so much better over 4 or 5 years compared to the budget stuff. Just stick with Apple and you will be fine... skip the third party deals that look too good to be true.
