What SSDs would you recommend for the 7800X3D? I'm looking at options like the Samsung 990 Pro, WD Black SN850X, and Crucial T700, but I'm open to other suggestions. How much capacity would you advise?

I got Samsung 990 Pro, it works well with 7800X3D. https://www.amazon.com/SAMSUNG-Internal-Expansion-MZ-V9P2T0B-AM/dp/B0BHJJ9Y77/?------123456890?6890-20

Just catching up on this thread. Honestly, if you want top tier reliability without the Samsung tax, the SK Hynix Platinum P41 2TB NVMe PCIe Gen4 is fantastic. It runs super cool and the power efficiency is legit compared to some others.
- SK Hynix Platinum P41 2TB NVMe PCIe Gen4 - best all-rounder for thermals and speed.
- Lexar Professional NM790 4TB NVMe SSD - if you need massive storage without spending a fortune. Honestly, unless you are doing heavy 4k video editing, PCIe 5.0 is overkill for a 7800X3D build. You wont see a real world difference in game load times over a solid Gen4 drive like the ones above. Check out Tom's Hardware SSD hierarchy charts if you really wanna geek out on the sustained write speeds and endurance ratings. Just go for 2TB minimum nowadays, games are becoming massive...

Any SSD you mentioned are OK. Just pick best deals on these SSDs.
