Just bought the Ryzen 9 9900X, please suggest me a good M.2 SSD for it.

Honestly, I'm a bit bummed with how expensive 'premium' drives have stayed while Gen5 stuff is mostly just a heat trap right now. Had a bad run with a drive that cost way too much and barely felt faster than my old setup... real letdown. If you want to save some cash without losing that high-end feel for your 9900X, check these out:

  • Crucial T500 2TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe
  • SK hynix Platinum P41 2TB NVMe SSD I went with the SK Hynix in my latest rig after being disappointed by the price-to-performance on others. Its rock solid and doesnt get nearly as toasty as the Samsung or WD alternatives. Just my two cents if you dont want to overspend on marketing fluff.

Any M2. SSD works, I personally choose the Samsung 990 EVO

WD Black SN850X.
