I'm building a new PC with an AMD Ryzen 5 7600X and an RTX 3060. I'm unsure about the best PSU wattage and brand to use. I've seen recommendations ranging from 650W to 750W. Can anyone suggest a reliable PSU that would be suitable for this setup? Also, should I consider any specific features or certifications? Thanks in advance!

> 750W PSU is ideal for future upgrade. @Reply #1 - good point! honestly i went with a 650w for a similar build a while back and kinda regretted it when i wanted to swap my gpu later. these days i always aim for 750w just to keep the fan noise down. the psu isnt working as hard so it stays way quieter... from a technical side, the 7600X can spike a bit during heavy loads even if the tdp looks low. i’m currently running the Corsair RM750e 750W 80 Plus Gold and it’s been solid. very stable voltages. another decent option if you can find it on sale is the Seasonic Focus GX-750 750W 80 Plus Gold. definitely look for a gold rating at least. it’s not just about efficiency, usually means better internal components too. good luck with the build! if you get stuck on the cabling or anything just shout.

650W PSU is enough, 750W PSU is ideal for future upgrade.
