putting together a new pc mostly for 1440p gaming and some video editing on the side and i finally managed to snag an rtx 4070 on sale last weekend. now im totally stuck on the motherboard part. my total budget for the board is around 150 to 180 bucks max since i blew a bit too much cash on the gpu. ive been reading a ton of reddit threads and pcpartpicker lists all week. i saw a bunch of people recommending the msi b650 gaming plus wifi because its cheap and has decent vrms, but then i found some old forum posts saying the boot times are terrible and the bios is clunky. i also looked at a couple gigabyte boards but honestly looking at all these specs is giving me a headache. i just want something stable that wont bottleneck my cpu or give me a migraine trying to install drivers when i build this thing next weekend. if youre running a 4070 right now what budget board did you actually buy and does it give you any trouble...
