So I've been grinding CS2 pretty hard lately trying to hit level 10 on Faceit but I'm starting to feel like my old 144hz Asus is holding me back during fast peeks. I saved up about 600 bucks and I'm ready to upgrade but honestly the options are kinda overwhelming. I'm stuck between getting the Zowie XL2546K because literally everyone says DyAc is a game changer for motion blur or maybe going for something like the BenQ XL2566K since it's 360hz.
My desk is super shallow so anything over 25 inches is gonna be right in my face which is why I'm leaning away from those 27 inch 1440p monitors even though the clarity looks nice. I live in a pretty small apartment in Chicago so space is at a premium here lol. I also looked at the Alienware AW2524H but 500hz seems like total overkill for my PC setup since I barely pull 400 fps anyway. I need to make a decision by next week so I can get it shipped before the local LAN event I signed up for.
Is the jump to 360hz actually worth the extra 200 bucks for competitive play or is the 240hz Zowie still the king for CS...
I tried the 360hz but unfortunately it felt identical. Total letdown for the price. TLDR: Grab the BenQ Zowie XL2546K 240Hz 24.5-inch, it fits shallow desks perfectly without wasting cash.
