NVIDIA has just announced RTX 5000 series GPUs:

RTX 5090: Starts at $1999

RTX 5080: Starts at $999

RTX 5070 Ti: Starts at $749

RTX 5070: Starts at $549

Which one do you think is the best value?

I agree with James, the FE cards are usually the most reliable pick early on. They have the tightest quality control since NVIDIA basically wants those to be the showcase for the tech. If youre looking at actual value versus reliability, here is how a few options compare:

  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Founders Edition: This is probably the safest pick for high-end performance. The cooling design is efficient and it doesnt have the unnecessary factory overclocks that sometimes cause stability issues.
  • ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5070 Ti: If you want an AIB card, the TUF series is usually the way to go for longevity. It uses high-grade capacitors and it is built like a tank, which is what I look for.
  • MSI Gaming X Slim GeForce RTX 5070: Good if you need something that runs quieter and fits in more cases. It is not the fastest but it should be very reliable for a standard mid-range build. Really just depends on your power supply headroom tho... those 5080s can be thirsty. Quick reply while I have a sec but honestly stick with the brands that focus on cooling over RGB.

@craze Only for FE version, AIB cards are more expensive.
