Since launch, I hasn't see any restock at B&H, but on the product pages, there are some customer reviews, do they really have some GPUs?
Regarding what #2 said about the MSI cards being the budget way to go... unfortunately I have to disagree a bit there. In my experience lately, their prices have been creeping up way too high and I had some issues with coil whine on their last gen stuff. Not as good as expected for the price point, honestly. If you are trying to be cost-conscious while waiting for B&H to actually get their act together, I would keep an eye out for these instead:
Actually, I'm not so sure it's just 'anytime' - B&H has been pretty weird with their stock queues lately and I'm pretty sure those reviews are just from the lucky few who got in on day one. If you're trying to be smart about the budget for these 50-series cards, I'd suggest a few things: 1. Honestly, just go with MSI. You basically can't go wrong with their thermal designs this generation and they tend to be more reasonably priced than the boutique options.
2. Don't get hung up on one retailer - basically just get any card from Gigabyte if you see it in stock elsewhere. Their VRM setup is usually pretty solid for the price point, which is important for these high-wattage GPUs.
3. Keep in mind that 'restocks' might just be them filling old backorders - at least that's what I've gathered from the technical data floating around on other forums. Tbh, the specs across most brands are so similar that it isn't worth paying a huge markup just to get it from one specific shop!!!
> do they really have some GPUs? They probably had a tiny amount at launch but its all gone now. I'm actually pretty worried about ordering from random sites so I'd stick to the big stores even if they're slow. If you see stock, honestly just go with any card from Asus. You can't really go wrong with them for reliability and I really don't want to risk a failure on such an expensive part for my first high-end build. Just be careful with the shipping and make sure to check the warranty terms first... I've seen some horror stories lately about people having issues with claims.
The restocks could at anytime of the day.
