Tbh, have you figured out your motherboard socket yet? If you want easy cooling and raw FPS for Valorant, maybe look at the Intel Core i5-13400F 10-Core 4.6GHz instead.

Honestly, at that price point, you should just grab the Intel Core i5-14600K 14-Core 5.3GHz. Its been my go-to for a while now but tbh the heat output is kinda annoying. I had issues with it throttling during long sessions, so definitely dont skimp on a decent air cooler. Its super fast for Valorant and CoD tho, which is what you want. Unfortunately, Intel chips run pretty hot lately so keep your airflow solid. Just make sure you get a good Z790 board to pair with it, otherwise you're wasting potential. Keep it simple and dont overthink the numbers, this chip handles high frames perfectly fine for competitive stuff.

^ This. Also, if you really want to keep things snappy without the thermal headache, check out the Intel Core i5-13600K 14-Core 5.1GHz. Honestly, for Valorant and COD, this thing is an absolute beast! It runs way cooler than the 14th gen chips and saves you some cash. Definitely check out the hardware benchmarks on TechPowerUp to see the frame rate diffs yourself, it helped me decide when I built my rig.
