same here, been staring at my cart for hours honestly... trying to decide if its worth sticking with intel or jumping to team red this time. if you do a lot of productivity work the Intel Core i7-14700K is usually a solid value for the multi-core performance but the power draw is pretty high. i've been looking at the AMD Ryzen 7 7700X as a decent middle ground because it's more efficient and the am5 platform has more life in it anyway. the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D is also seeing some price drops but it's only really worth it for heavy dev work or editing alongside gaming. usually the enthusiast tier chips get the biggest cuts while the budget stuff stays flat. honestly just comes down to whether you need those extra cores or just better gaming frames.
