Is there actually a universal docking station out there that works smoothly with literally any laptop model without making me want to pull my hair out? Honestly fed up with my current setup, it keeps dropping my external monitors and disconnecting my mouse every five minutes and im just so over it. I work from home here in Chicago doing graphic design and video editing, so I constantly have my personal MacBook Pro and my work Windows laptop hooked up to the desk. I need something that can handle dual 4K displays and power delivery for both machines without needing a million driver updates or special proprietary software. My budget is around 200 bucks max since I already wasted money on this piece of junk I have now. Seriously, if anyone has found a dock that actually plays nice with different brands and doesnt require a degree in engineering to set up, please let me know what model youre using...

> constantly have my personal MacBook Pro and my work Windows laptop hooked up to the desk I would suggest looking at the CalDigit TS4 Thunderbolt 4 Dock if you can stretch just a bit, or the Anker PowerExpand 13-in-1 USB-C Dock for a cheaper option. Just make sure to check power limits because some cheaper docks struggle with dual 4K setups on both mac and windows systems simultaneously.
