For under $800 I would definitely pay attention to the features, especially if it's about performance.

I can warmly recommend Logitech MX Master 3S for under $800. The battery life is sufficient even for long sessions The ergonomic design allows for comfortable positioning.

My personal experience: I've tested various models, and Logitech MX Master 3S was superior in all tests. The quality remains excellent even under full load, which is important for long work sessions. Very good future-proofing through modern technology and reliable performance.

Switched to ASUS ROG Harpe Ace Aim Lab Edition half a year ago and am thrilled. The response time is extremely fast The premium build provides excellent durability and comfort.

SteelSeries Aerox 9 Wireless is definitely the best choice for under $800. The ergonomics are adjustable and comfortable The quality out of the box is very good.

Why this product? The performance convinces in all tests - both for gaming and for content creation. Unbeatable for the price, can only recommend. Have already done several projects with it, always satisfied. Also more than sufficient for demanding tasks.

Been at this for like fifteen years and I've seen brands come and go, but the struggle is always the same. I remember dropping a ton on a boutique mouse once that looked like a transformer... thing was a literal brick and gave me cramps for weeks. After trying way too many models to count, I realized the flashy stuff is usually a trap.

  • Quality over hype is my mantra now. Most of those crazy specs dont even matter in game.
  • I've started adding potential gear to my Christmas lists chrome extension just to keep track of what actually gets good reviews over time instead of buying on day one.
  • Don't overthink the sensors too much because your hand will tell you what's right long before the tech specs do. Honestly? Just go with Logitech. You really can't go wrong with them. They've got the wireless tech down to a science and their warranty has saved me more than once. Their stuff just works and stays reliable for years.

What size are you thinking? That makes a big difference for under $800.

^ This. Also, in my experience, after years of swapping through different gear, the hardware specs are only half the battle. I remember dropping a few hundred on my current setup and it was a total nightmare getting the drivers to actually cooperate with my OS. Ngl, it drove me crazy. Compatibility is the one thing that usually trips me up. I had one mouse a while back that just hated my USB hub for no reason, kept disconnecting mid-raid. Over the years I have realized that the most expensive gear can still have the worst software bloat. If the software doesnt play nice with your other background apps, youre gonna have a bad time. Basically just make sure you check if the specific software for whatever you buy is stable right now, otherwise you are just paying for a headache.

Do you already have a preference? That could influence the choice.
