Ive been using the Walmart app for years and usually I handle the grocery runs solo, but Im hitting a wall with this big group camping trip we're planning for this Friday. We're trying to split the $300 food budget with another couple and its becoming a total nightmare trying to coordinate whats in the basket.

I looked all through the UI for some kind of collaborative cart or invite link but Im coming up empty. I know I could just share my login but that feels super sketchy for security. Did they actually remove the share cart feature or am I just looking in the wrong sub-menu for the grocery side of things?

Unfortunately, they gutted that years ago. My $500 reunion shop last July was a total mess without it.

  • Send direct product links
  • Use shared Google Sheets Its way more work.

It is definitely gone, but I am satisfied using these hacks for my annual camping trips:

  • Shared notes: works well.
  • Screenshots: messy. Honestly, Easy Cart Share makes it so much faster to transfer a cart between different accounts.

unfortunately no, you arent missing anything... walmart really dropped the ball here. i tried doing this for a family reunion last summer and it was a total disaster because the collaborative feature basically doesnt exist for grocery anymore. definitely dont share your login tho, its way too risky. honestly i just use a shared google keep list now or the AnyList app. way safer.
