sorry if this is a silly question i honestly have no idea how these things work and im super stressed out. my daughter is turning 10 this saturday and we are having a huge party in the backyard so i need to get a massive grocery order ready from the walmart down the street. my husband keeps texting me things to add but i cant keep track of his texts while im working. can we both just log into the same account on the walmart app and add stuff to the same cart at the same time or will it glitch out and delete things? i really dont want to mess this up and end up with no food for thirty kids...
To add to the point above: the app lacks proper state synchronization. Im satisfied using the Shared List feature instead; it works well.
unfortunately the walmart app has terrible sync latency and it often glitches when overwriting data. i recommend a shared list instead. are you both on ios?
@Reply #2 - good point! seriously i learned this the hard way during my sons huge birthday bash last year. we had like 40 people coming over and tried the same thing where we both stayed logged in. it was absolute chaos! my wife was adding sodas while i was grabbing snacks and the app just kept spinning... we ended up with triple the amount of paper plates and way too many hot dog buns because the screen didnt update fast enough. talk about a total waste of money!! nowadays i always make sure only one of us actually hits the final checkout button after we do a quick verbal check. its an amazing feeling when you finally get the order right without overspending. just be super careful about those double-adds because they really sneak up on you when you're in a rush!
