Im so excited because my birthdays coming up in June and I want to make sure my family gets the right stuff! I found things online but I have no idea how this works honestly. Sorry if this is super basic but how do I actually share a private list with just them?

I did this for my bday and my setup was fantastic. Honestly, just:

  • make your list
  • toggle privacy settings
  • text the link Its a game changer, youll love it!

You typically just use a shareable link but unfortunately my experience with that was quite underwhelming. I methodically organized every item last year yet the platform failed to sync when my sister made a purchase. The whole thing resulted in duplicate gifts and an awkward return process that cost us way more in shipping than the items were worth. Honestly it turned into a huge logistical headache for the whole family...

Wait, just be careful with those privacy settings tho. Sometimes they default to public and strangers can see your info which is super sketchy. I always double-check if the link is unlisted or totally private. If you use a handy holiday tool, it keeps things secure for just your family. Definitely test the link in an incognito window first just to be safe so you dont accidentally leak your address or something.
