Im losing my mind trying to get everyone on the same page for Christmas and New Years this year. My family has ballooned to like 22 people now that all the cousins have kids and its just a nightmare trying to coordinate. I looked at some of those best of lists online and everyone suggests shared Google Calendars or stuff like Doodle polls but honestly my 70 year old dad is never going to log into a poll and my sister who is a nurse just gets her shift schedule like two weeks before anyway so the long term planning apps feel kinda useless. We are trying to figure out who is hosting which night between our place in Columbus and my aunts house in PA without it turning into a huge fight.

I saw some people say just use a giant group chat but that just leads to 500 notifications and nobody actually reads the important stuff once it gets buried. Does anyone have a system that actually works for a group this big and messy? Or maybe a specific way you set up a group chat so people actually pay attention...
