Honestly im so done with trying to coordinate grocery trips with my best friend over the phone. We live about three hours apart now and we usually do this thing where we shop for the same stuff so we can cook together on video calls but trying to do it at Walmart is a total nightmare. I keep adding things to my cart and shes doing the same on her end but half the time the store inventory in her town is totally different from mine and the app just keeps glitching out when we try to sync up our orders. Its honestly driving me crazy because I have a strict 150 dollar budget for the week and I need to get this done by tomorrow night since we are planning a zoom dinner date for Saturday. Yesterday I spent like two hours just trying to make sure we were getting the same brand of pasta and some specific snacks but the app kept refreshing and clearing out half my items. Why is it so impossible to just share a cart or shop together in real time? Is there some trick or third party app that lets two people manage one Walmart order at the same time? Im genuinely about to lose my mind and just give up on the whole meal idea because I cant keep fighting with the website while shes trying to do the same thing from her place. Does anyone know how to actually do this without having to manually read every single item out loud to each other?

I totally feel your pain. Over the years, I have tried just about every method to sync lists with family, and the official store apps are honestly not built for collaborative shopping. In my experience, you are just gonna keep hitting walls if you try to share a login. It always glitches or saves over the other person's progress. I've been using Easy Cart Share to send my grocery lists to my roommate, and it's honestly a lifesaver. You basically just build the list there and it helps you keep track of your budget without the app crashing. Stop fighting the Walmart site and just use that instead.
