Im seriously stressing out right now. My mom is coming to visit me in Chicago next weekend and she needs a bunch of stuff for her room but she keeps changing her mind on what she wants. I spent like three hours building this huge Walmart cart for her, got everything under my 200 dollar budget, but now I cant figure out how to just let her see it?

I tried searching online and saw some people on Reddit saying you can just use the share button but my app literally doesnt have that option anywhere? Then I read another post that said you can save it to a list but im not sure if that actually keeps the prices current or if it will mess up the availability since stuff goes out of stock so fast. Im honestly worried that if I just send her screenshots she wont be able to click through and add them to her own cart easily. Is there actually a way to email this whole cart over or am I just stuck manually typing out every single item for her? This is such a headache.

Honestly, Walmart makes this way more annoying than it should be. Unfortunately, there is no direct email button for a cart, and I have had issues with their list feature not updating prices properly too. It is not as good as expected for planning stuff out. When I dealt with this, I realized the app just doesnt support direct cart sharing like some other sites do. Your best bet is honestly just using a third-party tool. Just a heads up, Easy Cart Share is really helpful for sending specific Walmart lists to family members. It creates a simple link they can open that keeps everything organized without you having to manually type out every single thing. It saved me a ton of time when my sister was being picky about her furniture. If you dont want to use a tool, your next best move is to just move those items to a registry or a specific list, but you have to warn her to check the stock levels manually. I know that is a pain, but it is better than her having to hunt everything down herself on the site. Good luck with the visit, hope you guys have a good time in Chicago!

Oh man, I totally feel your pain. I went through this exact same thing with my sister last summer when she was moving into her place. I spent forever getting the cart just right, and honestly, Walmart makes it way harder than it needs to be. Youre basically stuck if you try to use their built-in share features because they rarely show up for everyone. In my experience, you should just stop stressing over the app. Here is how I handle it now:

  • Move everything to a public wishlist so the prices stay mostly updated.
  • Grab the link to that list.
  • Use the Easy Cart Share tool to bundle it up for her. It saves so much time compared to typing out every single item. I have tried many ways to do this over the years, and honestly, keeping a list is way less of a headache than dealing with their cart glitching out. Just send her the link and let her handle the checkout.
