Are there apps that let you combine wishlists from multiple online retailers?

Honestly I am so fed up with having like fifty tabs open on my laptop at all times just to keep track of stuff for my kitchen remodel. Im in the middle of trying to spruce up my place in Chicago before my sister comes to visit next month and it is actually becoming a nightmare. My logic was that I could just use the native wishlists on Amazon and Target and whatever but then I found this really cool vintage-style kettle on some random boutique site and then some plates on Etsy and now I cant remember where anything is.

I tried using Pinterest because I thought okay cool I can pin everything there but it doesn't really update when things go out of stock or tell me if the price dropped and it just feels like more clutter. Then I tried just making a folder in my Chrome bookmarks but looking at a list of 40 URLs tells me absolutely nothing about what the item actually looks like so I have to click every single one anyway. I have a budget of around $1500 for all the new decor and small appliances and I really need to stay organized so I dont overspend or buy duplicates by accident. Does anyone know if there is an app or a browser extension that actually works for this? Like something that pulls the image and the price into one big master list regardless of the store? I just want one place to look at everything together...

Try Karma. Its a solid extension for tracking prices and images. I find it more reliable than others, plus it doesnt seem to sell your data like some do.

  • I have been through this exact headache while renovating. Over the years, I have tried many of these tools, but I have become much more cautious about which extensions I allow to see my shopping habits. In my experience, you really have to watch out for the ones that sell your data or slow down your machine. My current setup involves a very lightweight tool that I found after a lot of trial and error. Here is what I look for now:
  • Permission levels that are not invasive
  • Manual refresh options for prices
  • Simple visual layout without ads Honestly, I wasted so much time with apps that promised "automatic tracking" only for them to miss price drops anyway. I prefer a bit more control. Just make sure whatever you pick doesnt hog your RAM or track your every move... it is not worth the convenience if your laptop starts lagging while you are trying to work.

I went through this whole nightmare when I was fixing up my home office last year and honestly, you gotta be careful with some of those universal wishlist extensions. They look great on paper but I noticed my laptop started lagging like crazy after installing a few of them. Plus, I read the fine print on one and realized they were basically tracking every single move I made online to sell my shopping profile to advertisers. Ngl, it felt super creepy. I tried Honey for a bit because everyone talks about it, but it kept missing the mark on niche boutique sites like the ones you are looking at. It works for big box stuff but often fails on the cool vintage finds or custom Etsy listings. Eventually, I just started using a dedicated app instead of a browser extension. It takes an extra second to share the link to the app, but it keeps my browser clean and doesnt constantly snoop on my data. I compared a few and some are way better at grabbing the price accurately than others, so definitely do a test run first with your kettle link to see if it actually pulls the right info. TL;DR: Extensions like Karma or Honey are handy but can be heavy on data tracking and lag your browser. Standalone apps are often a safer bet for privacy if you are worried about your data being sold and they usually handle smaller boutique sites better.
