My family is huge and honestly I am super stressed about keeping track of who gets what this year since my budget is super tight and I cant afford any subscription fees. I saw Giftster mentioned on some blogs but it looks like a pain to set up. Any truly free apps you guys actually use?

Honestly, skip the fancy apps if you are stressed. I just use Google Sheets on my phone. Its totally free and you can sync it with family so everyone sees what is bought. Just be careful not to make the sheet public link settings too open! It is way less hassle than those complicated trackers that try to sell you stuff anyway.

I agree that tracking things is a headache. Honestly, my cousin once tried to organize a secret santa with a spreadsheet and it ended up causing a literal family feud, unfortunately.
