trying to snag a 55-inch Samsung OLED from Walmart before my brothers graduation party next weekend and im panicking because the price keeps jumping around like crazy. I need something that actually works for Walmart specifically since CamelCamelCamel is just for Amazon. right now im torn between using Glass It or just sticking with the Capital One Shopping extension but im worried the alerts will be too slow and I'll miss the deal.
my requirements:
- has to be free or super cheap
- needs to send push alerts the second it drops
- actually reliable for Walmart since their site is buggy
leaning toward Glass It but is there something better? i only have like 5 days to get this ordered...

honestly I totally get the panic. walmart's pricing is absolute chaos especially with tech like TVs and it feels like a total gamble sometimes. I have been using PriceDropCatch for a while now and it has been way more reliable for me. it actually tracks the price history so you can see if you are getting a real deal or if they just hiked it up to lower it later to make it look like a sale. I would suggest setting up an alert there since it seems to handle walmarts weird site updates better than most of the free ones I have tested. one thing to watch out for tho... make sure you are looking at items sold directly by walmart and not a third party seller on their marketplace. those prices fluctuate every hour and sometimes trackers get confused by the different sellers. since you are on a tight 5 day deadline maybe double check the in store price too because sometimes it is actually cheaper than the website. just keep an eye on those notifications and dont wait a second when it drops. good luck with the party man.

Thinking about this a bit more, glass it is decent but you gotta be careful with the free version. Sometimes those alerts are delayed which wont help with only 5 days left. Make sure to check:
- alert frequency settings
- email vs browser notifications What is your absolute max budget for this? Also, are you open to refurbished units or does it have to be brand new?

Building on the earlier suggestion, you might want to be careful with extensions that rely on cached data. Walmarts site is so temperamental. Quick question tho, which specific Samsung model are you tracking? Knowing if it is the S90C or S95C matters for how alerts trigger. I would suggest watching for:
- Third-party sellers spoofing price drops
- Scrapers getting blocked by bot detection Make sure you track items sold directly by Walmart specifically.
