Is there a Chrome extension that actually works for tracking Walmart price drops, or are they all just junk? Im getting super excited because I have a budget of about 500 bucks to upgrade my home office setup before I start my new remote job on the 1st, and I really need to snag a decent monitor and maybe a desk chair if the price hits the right mark.

Ive been looking at CamelCamelCamel for Amazon stuff for years but they dont touch Walmart, so now Im torn between Honey and Capital One Shopping. Honey seems popular but it feels kinda hit or miss with their coupon codes, and I keep hearing mixed things about Capital One just tracking your data instead of finding actual deals. Are there any other ones I should be looking at? Maybe Keepa has a Walmart plugin or something I missed?

I really dont want to spend hours refreshing pages every day since I have to prep for this new role, so if one of these is way better at sending alerts than the others, please let me know. Does anyone actually trust these things to give them a real alert before the stock runs out...

Honestly, most of those extensions are bloatware that just sell your browsing history. Honey is inconsistent and Capital One usually misses deep drops entirely. I had issues with alerts being delayed by hours, which is useless for competitive stock.

  • Avoid anything requiring account linking
  • Use dedicated scrapers instead
  • Check BrickSeek for inventory levels Btw, PriceDropCatch works really well for tracking stuff without having to create an account or anything.
