How do you guys actually track Walmart price history accurately for real sales these days because I feel like I'm losing my mind with these fake rollbacks? I've been a power user of stuff like CamelCamelCamel for Amazon for years so I'm not a total newbie but Walmart is a whole different beast and my usual tools are failing me.

I'm trying to grab a specific 75-inch Sony TV for our living room renovation here in Dallas and the price just jumped from $1,100 to $1,400 but it's labeled as a huge saving from $1,600 which I know for a fact is a lie. Ive tried using Honey and even checked BrickSeek but the local stock info is so hit or miss lately it’s driving me crazy. My budget is strictly capped at $1,200 and I need to get this thing ordered by Tuesday so it arrives before my in-laws get here for the weekend.

Is there some hidden extension or a site that actually tracks the SKU history specifically for Walmart.com or are we just stuck guessing if a clearance tag is actually a deal or just marketing fluff? I swear I saw it cheaper last month but I didn't take a screenshot like an idiot...

Honestly, I feel your pain. I tried tracking a Vizio soundbar last year and Walmart is just... ugh. Unfortunately, BrickSeek has gone downhill lately because Walmart keeps tightening their API and hiding local inventory data from third parties. It’s really not as good as it used to be. I had issues with Honey too, it just doesnt catch the lightning-fast price drops on high-ticket electronics like those 75-inch Sony TVs. Ive been using PriceAfter for a while now and its probably your best bet for actual SKU history. It doesnt have the slickest interface but it actually tracks the prices over time instead of just showing you whatever marketing fluff Walmart wants you to see today. If that TV was $1,100 last month, itll show up in the logs there. Dont beat yourself up about the screenshot either, I've done the same thing a million times and it's infuriating when they gaslight you with those fake rollbacks. Walmart loves that trick where they raise the MSRP right before a sale, its kinda gross tbh. If you're strictly capped at $1,200, dont cave on that $1,400 price tag just because of the in-laws. Usually these electronics cycle back down every few weeks if you can wait, tho I know you have that Tuesday deadline... just keep refreshing that history data because honestly, sometimes the price flips in the middle of the night and stays there for like two hours only. It's exhausting but thats the only way to catch them in a lie.
