Is there a way to actually get reliable price drop alerts for Walmart items without checking the site every five minutes? Im trying to snag this 55 inch TCL tv for my new apartment before I move in next month and my budget is strictly under 300 bucks so I really need to catch it when it dips.

I tried looking into it and I saw some people saying the Walmart app has a built in tracker but honestly I have the notifications on and I never get anything even when I see the price changed manually. I also read about using Honey or some other browser extensions but I'm mostly on my phone and those things feel like they just want to sell my data anyway lol. I also heard about BrickSeek but that seems more for in-store clearance and I want to order this online so it ships directly to me since I dont have a truck to haul a big box.

Is there a specific app or a discord bot or something that actually pings your phone the second a price drops? Im worried if I wait too long the deal will be gone and I'll be stuck staring at a wall in my new place... everything is getting so expensive lately its honestly exhausting trying to find a good deal.

Are you looking for a specific TCL model number or just any 55 inch that fits the budget? Also, make sure to decide if you are okay with refurbished because those hit your price point way faster but you might want to consider the risk of shorter warranties. Just trying to see what level of quality you actually need for the new place tho.

I've tried so many trackers over the years and honestly most are junk. Hunting for my current screen was a nightmare because the app notifications just never fired.

  • third party alerts were way more reliable
  • checking the seller name is key to avoid scams The one I got eventually came through an email alert instead of relying on phone pings.
