How can I share my entire Amazon cart with someone else for a group gift?

I'm trying to organize a group purchase with a few friends, and I have all the items sitting in my Amazon cart. I was surprised to find there's no "share cart" button. Manually sending links for each item seems tedious.

What's the easiest way to send my full cart to others so they can see everything at once? Are third-party browser extensions the only simple option these days?

Thanks

> What's the easiest way to send my full cart to others so they can see everything at once? Honestly, I'm still pretty new to all this but I found a way to do it without using any extra apps or extensions. I'm always worried about privacy and stuff with those things tbh. Have you tried just using a Amazon Wish List instead of the actual cart? It is basically a free DIY version of a shared cart. You just move the items from your cart into a new list. I like it because:

  • It shows you when prices drop so you can save some money
  • You can share the whole list with one simple link
  • It lets people see what has already been bought so you don't get doubles It might take an extra minute to click through the items and move them over, but it feels way safer than giving a browser extension access to my whole account. Is that the kind of thing you are looking for or is it too slow for what you need?

@Reply #6 - good point to save this because the advice here is actually pretty critical. I agree with the privacy warnings mentioned earlier, you really need to be careful about what permissions those extensions ask for. If you're looking for a more methodical way to handle high-end components like an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D Processor or maybe a Seasonic FOCUS GX-1000 1000W 80+ Gold Power Supply, I would suggest using a Wedding or Custom Gift Registry instead of a basic list. It offers much better tracking for long-term ownership. It basically acts as a shared dashboard where friends can see exactly what is left to buy without needing to install anything. Make sure to verify the 'purchased' status manually if someone buys from a different store tho. It's a safer way to manage a group gift for expensive tech without compromising your browser security.
