I'm trying to figure out how to share my Amazon shopping cart with my family members so we can all add items before placing an order. I've looked through the app settings but can't find a clear option. Does Amazon have a cart sharing feature, or is there a workaround to accomplish this?

Try this Cart to link chrome extension, works well for me: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/cart-to-link-share-amazon/ddajofifhfhmbiaigckfaopakndgpipb

@Reply #10 - good point! Honestly, I'm always a bit wary of those third-party extensions. I had a bad experience once where an extension kept crashing my browser and I worried about my login info, so I prefer staying safe with official methods. I've been using a specific setup for years and I'm really satisfied with how it handles our family orders. No complaints at all so far. Quick question before I get into the weeds tho... are these family members living under the same roof as you, or are they spread out? It kinda changes how I'd suggest setting it up for maximum security. Here are my two quick tips for staying safe:

  • Set up an Amazon Household to share Prime benefits officially without sharing passwords.
  • If you're building a rig, move parts like a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Super Graphics Card to a shared list first so everyone can double-check the specs before anyone hits buy. It keeps things clean and you don't have to worry about your data leaking to some random developer.

Tbh, if ur looking for a more stable way to handle this without relying on third-party scripts that might break with every UI update, I always recommend sticking to Amazon’s native ecosystem for list management. It’s basically the industry standard for collaborative shopping without a dedicated public API for synchronous cart sharing. - Just use any Shared List feature from Amazon.
- Make sure u set the permissions to allow others to add/remove items.
- Aggregate everything there and then do a bulk move to the checkout cart when ur ready. It’s honestly the only ROBUST way to ensure ur metadata stays synced across different devices without any security risks. Using native tools is SO much better for long-term use, ngl.

Search easy cart share.

Sharing an Amazon cart directly for collaborative editing isn't a standard built-in feature. Also looking for extensions.
