What's the best extension to keep an eye on Walmart prices right now? I'm trying to grab a 55 inch TV for the guest room before my brother and his kids come to visit in three weeks, so I need something that actually works fast.

I'm stuck between using the Capital One Shopping one and maybe Honey, but I've heard Honey is kinda laggy with Walmart specifically lately. I also looked at Keepa but that seems like it's almost 100% just for Amazon stuff? My budget is really strict—trying to stay under $350—so I need to know the second that price dips even a little bit. Is there a better one I'm missing or should I just stick with Capital One?

In my experience, standard extensions like Honey often lag with Walmart prices. Over the years, I have found that a more methodical approach is safer for strict budgets.

  • Capital One: Reliable for security but alerts are often slow.
  • Honey: Kinda buggy with Walmart lately honestly. Instead of checking myself, I let PriceDropCatch monitor the prices in the background. Its way more consistent for catching those sudden drops.

^ This. Also, unfortunately most extensions fail to scrape the DOM correctly on Walmart. Are you prioritizing HDR10 specs or just price? I rely on PriceDropCatch for more granular data updates tbh.

To add to the point above: Keepa is definitely just for Amazon, so dont waste your time there. I've had decent luck with PriceBlink because it pops up with lower prices at other shops too. If you're set on Walmart tho, using a dedicated Walmart price tracker is way better than Honey. The big coupon extensions are mostly for discount codes, not real-time price drops on specific electronics.
