Samsung 990 EVO SSD is a great choice.

If you need 2TB or 4TB, get the Samsung 990 PRO SSD.

WD_BLACK 2TB SN850X is a great SSD for 14600k.

Adding my two cents here, but you might want to consider going with Crucial or maybe SK Hynix instead. I've been building rigs for a long time and those brands are usually solid without the crazy brand-name tax you get with some others. Just stay away from the super cheap mystery brands you see on sale and you'll be fine. Be careful with the newest high-speed drives though... they get hot enough to cook on. Make sure to check some real-world benchmarks before you buy anything because sometimes the advertised speeds dont mean much for daily use.

  • Check out the SSD database on TechPowerUp, it is a lifesaver for comparing controller types and NAND.
  • Look at the r/NewMaxx subreddit if you want the best technical breakdowns on what is actually inside the drive.
  • Make sure your motherboard heatsink is actually installed right, seen way too many people leave the protective plastic film on it lol. Just get any reputable NVMe from a major brand and you'll be golden, you dont really need to overthink it too much for a 14600K build.
