What is the best white PSU for aesthetic builds?

I'm planning a clean, all-white aesthetic build and really want to avoid using a black power supply with ugly cable extensions. Does anyone have recommendations for a reliable white PSU that actually includes matching white cables and a white chassis? I'm looking for at least 750W-850W with an 80+ Gold rating. Which brands currently offer the best balance of performance and aesthetics?

Oh man, I totally get the struggle... I've built a couple of all-white rigs and hiding a black PSU is lowkey a nightmare. Honestly, for your situation, I've had the best luck just sticking with Corsair. I've used their white units in my last two builds and they're basically the gold standard because they actually include matching white cables that don't look like cheap plastic, you know?

Another solid brand to look at is Seasonic. I mean, they're legendary for reliability anyway, but their white versions look super clean and the performance is always top-tier. ASUS also does some really flashy white units if you want that premium aesthetic, though they can be a bit pricier. Personally, I'd say go with Corsair if you want the best cable quality right out of the box without needing extensions. It just makes the whole cable management process sooo much easier. Good luck with the build, it's gonna look sick!

Sooo I went through this exact same struggle last year!! I was building my first all-white rig and literally spent weeks obsessing over the PSU because I didn't want to spend an extra $50 on cable extensions just to hide a black box. Honestly, it's kinda crazy how much of a "white tax" some brands charge just for a different paint job, you know? I ended up finding a great deal on a white unit from a brand I trust, and it actually came with matching white cables that weren't super stiff, which was a total win for my cable management.

But yeah, before you pull the trigger, I gotta ask a couple of things to see if I can help you save some cash:

1. What's your total budget for the PSU, cuz prices fluctuate like crazy??
2. Are you looking for those flat ribbon-style white cables or the individually sleeved ones??

I mean, some "white" PSUs still have black connectors on the ends, which totally ruins the vibe imo lol. Lmk what you're thinking!

tbh I always get nervous when people pick parts based on color alone, but you can definitely get reliability and looks if you're careful. If you're building something high-end, I would look at the MSI MPG A850G PCIE5 850W 80 Plus Gold White. It is ATX 3.0 certified so it is safer for the newer power-hungry GPUs and the white cables it comes with are actually high quality. Another solid option is the Phanteks AMP 850W 80 Plus Gold White Edition. It is based on a Seasonic platform, which is basically as reliable as it gets in the PSU world. The cables are nice and flexible, which makes cable management way easier. Just make sure you check the dimensions of your case... some of these 850W units are kinda long and can be a tight squeeze with the drive cages.

Seconding the recommendation above. Corsair RM850 80 PLUS Gold Fully Modular ATX White is basically the standard, but honestly, I had issues with their stock cables being too stiff for tight bends...

If you want better flexibility, check out these technical alternatives:

* ASUS ROG Strix 850W White Edition PSU - This one is seriously premium. It actually uses a custom PCB and heatsinks to keep it silent, and the etched logo looks sick in a white build.
* Cooler Master V850 Gold V2 White Edition - IMO, this has better cable quality than the Corsair. They're flatter and way easier to route through those tiny grommets.
* Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 750W Snow Edition - A bit more budget-friendly but uses high-end Japanese capacitors, so the ripple suppression is top-tier.

Just make sure ur checking if they're ATX 3.0 compatible if you're running a 40-series card, cuz using a black adapter on a white PSU lowkey ruins the whole vibe!! peace

Just found this thread and wanted to offer a slightly different take. While the big-box brands are fine, I’m always a bit more cautious—I've seen too many 'aesthetic' builds fail because people prioritized the paint job over the actual platform stability. If you're building this yourself, I’d suggest looking at the actual manufacturers rather than just the labels. I realllly recommend looking into the Super Flower Leadex V Gold PRO 850W White. They're an OEM that actually builds units for some of those other big names, so the reliability is basically unmatched. It’s super compact too, which is a lifesaver for DIY cable management. Also, if you want something more modern, definitely check out the MSI MPG A850G PCIE5 White. It’s ATX 3.0 ready—so you get that native 12VHPWR cable in white—which is huge if you’re planning on a newer GPU. It's wayyy better than using messy adapters that clutter up the look. Just make sure you aren't sacrificing those safety protections for a pretty chassis!
