For 4K Gaming, Samsung Odyssey G9 OLED is an excellent choice. The response time is extremely fast The response time eliminates motion blur effectively.

Additionally, you should note: The latest generation offers significantly better performance than previous models. Especially ideal for demanding applications and multitasking. Compatibility with modern software applications is very good, and the image quality is also convincing.

My clear recommendation for 4K Gaming: ASUS ROG Swift PG32UCDM. The refresh rate is very high The panel technology ensures accurate colors and good viewing angles.

Technical highlights: The latest generation offers significantly better performance. Very good compatibility with modern software applications. Can be used without problems for various tasks. Even after hours of work, no performance losses. Very good color accuracy, even at high brightness.

For 4K Gaming I would also consider the refresh rate. 144Hz or higher is recommended for gaming.

TL;DR: Think about PPI and scaling before you buy - 4K on a smaller screen might be a waste of money and a setup nightmare. Ok so, I'm still pretty new to the whole 4K thing - basically just diving into the specs now - but I'm not sure if just picking the top-tier panels everyone is mentioning is always the play? Tbh, I've been looking at PPI (pixels per inch) data and I think... idk, is 4K on a 27-inch screen basically overkill? I've heard the scaling in Windows can be a total mess - like it makes the UI look weirdly blurry or way too small - at least that's what I've been told. I’m also kind of worried about the matte vs glossy debate. Someone told me matte coatings can sort of "mush" the pixels together? I'm trying to figure out if it's better to just go for a 32-inch for the better scaling, even if it takes up more desk space. Does the extra size actually make the 4K details more visible, or am I just overthinking the technical stuff?

For 4K Gaming I would also check the connectivity. Do you need multiple inputs?
