I'm upgrading my system and diving into the world of DDR5 RAM. With so many brands out there, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. Which DDR5 memory brands have you found to be reliable, performant, and worth the investment?
^ This. Also, G.Skill is definitely the top choice right now, but I have unfortunately had some frustrating issues with the Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB 5600MHz kits recently. They just haven't been as stable as expected during my testing, which is disappointing for a brand that usually nails it. Quick tip: Don't look at the brand as much as the die manufacturer. Hynix A-die is the current gold standard for DDR5 stability and speed. I'd personally recommend the G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30 since it consistently uses high-quality Hynix chips. Avoid the early Micron-based modules tho... they really aren't built for high-performance builds and tend to hit a wall very early.
G.Skill is overall the best brand.
