With AMD's Ryzen 9000 Series ZEN 5 CPUs released recently, I'm keen to hear your thoughts on what might be the sweetspot DDR5 speed in the lineup.
To add to the point above: while 6400 is definitely the new target, you might want to consider staying with 6000 if you're trying to save a bit of cash. Honestly, the real world performance gap between 6000 and 6400 on Zen 5 isn't massive for most tasks, and 6000 is usually way more stable across various motherboards. I would suggest grabbing something like G.Skill Flare X5 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30 or even Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB 6000MHz CL30 if you want that sweet spot of price and performance without the headache of potential instability at higher clocks. Just be careful and make sure to check your mobo's QVL list first because those higher speeds can be finicky depending on your BIOS version... basically dont overspend for a tiny gain you wont even feel. If you're stuck on which kit fits your budget best just shout, I've played around with a few of these setups now.
