I recently upgraded my CPU to the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D and I'm looking for recommendations on the best RAM to pair with it. I want to ensure optimal performance for gaming and content creation. Any suggestions on RAM speed, timings, and brand?

@Reply #8 - good point! basically everyone is saying 6000MHz CL30 is the way to go and they're right for the most part. honestly tho the main thing to watch out for is compatibility because AM5 can be a bit picky sometimes. if you want something that just works without paying a huge premium i'd say go with TeamGroup DDR5 RAM or maybe Kingston FURY DDR5. they usually have great compatibility and aren't as pricey as the flashy stuff. just check your motherboard's support list first to be safe. as long as you stick to those brands you really cant go wrong for a stable gaming setup. lmk if you need help checking the lists!
