When do you think the RTX 5080 GPU will be restocked? I've been checking various retailers, but it seems like the demand is really high. Also, do you think the price will remain close to the MSRP of $999, or should I expect it to go up due to scarcity? Any insights would be appreciated!
Amazon has some RTX 5080 in stock daily. You can just check at GearInStock. https://www.gearinstock.com/nvidia-rtx-5080-pre-order-in-stock-availability-tracker/
I have to disagree slightly with the hope of seeing a true 999 dollar price tag anytime soon. To add to the point above: those base MSRP cards are basically unicorns during the first few months of a launch. You're much more likely to find a ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 5080 Gaming or a Zotac Gaming GeForce RTX 5080 Trinity OC in stock, but they're gonna carry a premium. If you're really determined, I might want to consider checking local brick-and-mortar stores like Micro Center instead of just refreshing websites. Sometimes the local shops get shipments that dont even make it to the online inventory because of bot protection. Just be careful with those scalper prices tho... paying double on eBay is never worth it. Also, if you do manage to snag one, make sure you have a solid ATX 3.0 power supply like the Seasonic Focus GX-1000 ATX 3.0 because these new cards are super sensitive to power spikes. Stick with it and dont give in to the FOMO, youll get one eventually!
Look at eBay, the price are all around $2000. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=rtx+5080&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p4432023.m570.l1313&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&campid=5338205158&toolid=11800&mkevt=1
