I'm upgrading my gaming rig and I've narrowed down my GPU choices to the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and the RX 7900 XTX. Both seem like powerful cards, but I'm unsure which one to go for.

I'm looking for great 1440p performance, future-proofing, and good value for money. Ray tracing is nice to have, but not a deal-breaker. I've heard mixed opinions about DLSS vs FSR.

What are your thoughts? Which one would you recommend and why? Any personal experiences with either card?

Basically, if you look at the architecture, the ASRock Phantom Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24GB is a different beast entirely. In my experience testing these units, the 7900 XTX behaves more like a competitor to the 4080 than the 4070 Ti SUPER. You get a massive 384-bit memory bus and 24GB of VRAM which is superior for future proofing compared to the 256-bit bus and 16GB on the ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER Trinity Black Edition. If you arent obsessed with ray tracing, the AMD card delivers significantly higher raw frame rates in almost every 1440p title Ive run. Ngl, Nvidias DLSS 3.5 is definitely better than FSR 3 right now in terms of image clarity, but brute force usually wins out as games get more demanding over the years. I've tried many cards and that extra VRAM buffer is a lifesaver for modded games or high res textures. If the prices are close, I'd go with the XTX for the raw power alone.
