What’s the cheapest CPU/GPU combo for achieving 60 FPS at 1440p? I’m looking for a budget-friendly setup that can handle high to ultra settings without breaking the bank. Any recommendations on specific models or configurations that would work well together? Also, is it worth investing in 32GB of RAM for gaming at this resolution? Thanks in advance for your help!

I totally agree with that suggestion, those are great parts. Tbh if you want to save every penny possible, you might also look at the AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT. Its usually a bit cheaper than the Nvidia equivalent and the 12GB of VRAM really helps with 1440p at high settings, you know? For the processor, I think the AMD Ryzen 5 5600 (the non-X one) is basically the same speed for less money. About the 32GB RAM thing... honestly, 16GB still works for most games, but their are definitely some newer titles that eat up more memory. If you can afford it, go for 32GB just to be safe, but if it means getting a worse GPU, then stick with 16GB for now. The GPU is doing most of the *heavy lifting* at that resolution anyway, right? Im still pretty new to building but these seem like the best value picks right now!
