Cyber Monday Gaming PC deals in 2024?

Question

Hello fellow gamers and creators! I'm eagerly awaiting Cyber Monday 2024 and wondering if any of you have insights on upcoming deals for gaming PCs. I'm particularly interested in builds that include the powerful RTX 4090 for both gaming and video editing, but I'm on a budget.

Has anyone spotted early deals or have tips on where to find the best discounts? I'm looking for a PC that can handle the latest games at high settings and efficiently process 4K video for editing. I'm hoping to snag a bargain without compromising too much on performance.

What specs should I prioritize besides the GPU? And does anyone have experience with previous Cyber Monday sales that could give me an idea of what to expect? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Building a rig for 4K editing and 4090 gaming is serious business, so be careful about prebuilt cooling. Honestly, if you go with an RTX 4090, your CPU choice is the biggest bottleneck. I would suggest looking for builds with at least an Intel Core i9-14900K or the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D because anything less will throttle your render times. Here are a few things you really need to watch out for:

Check the power supply unit wattage, dont settle for anything under 1000W gold rated if youre rocking a 4090.

Make sure the case actually has decent airflow because those cards run hot, and cheap cases will just trap heat.

Ensure you get at least 64GB of RAM for that 4K editing workflow. Prebuilts from brands like CyberPowerPC or Skytech tend to use off-the-shelf parts which is better for upgrades later compared to proprietary motherboards. Just watch the motherboard VRM quality, some companies cut corners there. If you need more help picking a specific unit, just ask.
