What's the best CPU for esports gaming?

Looking to build a PC primarily for competitive esports titles (CS2, Valorant, Fortnite, Rocket League). Budget is flexible but want the best performance-to-price ratio.

Currently torn between Intel 14th gen and AMD Ryzen 9000 series. Most important to me is consistent high FPS and minimal stuttering. Recommendations?
