I recently bought a used PC and I'm trying to figure out if my CPU has integrated graphics. My graphics card is acting up, and I want to know if I can still use my computer without it. What's the easiest way to check for integrated graphics on my CPU? I have Windows 10 and don't know much about computer hardware. Any help would be appreciated!

There are several easy ways to check if your CPU has integrated graphics:

Windows Method

  1. Press Win+R, type "dxdiag" and press Enter
  2. Go to the "Display" tab
  3. Look for two display adapters - if you see both your dedicated GPU and an Intel/AMD graphics option, you have integrated graphics

Device Manager Method

  1. Right-click Start and select "Device Manager"
  2. Expand "Display adapters"
  3. Multiple entries indicate both dedicated and integrated graphics

System Information Method

  1. Press Win+R, type "msinfo32" and press Enter
  2. Navigate to Components > Display
  3. Check for multiple display devices

BIOS Method

  1. Restart your computer and enter BIOS (usually F2, F10, or Del)
  2. Look for graphics settings section
  3. You'll likely see options to enable/disable integrated graphics if present

CPU Model Research

Simply search your CPU model online - specifications will always list if it has integrated graphics.

Those are pretty solid ways to check! I'm still learning about this stuff, but IIRC, even if ur CPU has integrated graphics, you should probably check if your motherboard actually has the ports for it on the back. Tbh, I bought a used PC once and realized the motherboard didn't even have an HDMI port, so I couldn't use the iGPU anyway. Also, not 100% sure but is it safe to keep a glitchy GPU plugged in? I'd be worried it might crash the whole system or something while ur trying to test the integrated one. Honestly, just a reliability thing to keep in mind before you rely on it too much. Does anyone know if you have to like, physically remove the old card for it to be stable?

You can check if your CPU has integrated graphics by using the IntelĀ® Driver & Support Assistant, which automatically detects your graphics controller. [Intel.com]( https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005510/graphics.html)
