just saw this thread and wanted to jump in since under 50 bucks can be a total minefield. you can definitely find something decent but i would suggest being really careful about the long term compatibility and build. like someone mentioned, performance is key but that dont mean much if the software is buggy or it doesnt play nice with your setup.

Saw this earlier but just now responding. Finding something decent under 50 is honestly frustrating because most budget boards feel like toys.
